At Wise.CPA, pricing is designed to be simple, transparent, and aligned with the needs of clients who want expert tax strategy, not “one-off” form filing.
Every engagement begins with a comprehensive tax preparation package and can be tailored with optional upgrades based on your communication needs and complexity.
Base Engagement Fee
$2,500
This fee covers the work required for accurate and thoughtful tax preparation and strategic compliance.
Included:
- Full individual income tax preparation (federal and applicable state returns)
- Support by email for tax questions throughout the year
- Estimated tax calculation and payment guidance (if relevant)
- Tax projections related to RSUs, ESPP, stock options, capital gains, income shifts, etc.
- Secure document portal
The base scope is designed to cover most well-organized taxpayers with common planning needs, including equity compensation and multi-state filings.
For very complex returns an additional fee may be quoted before work begins.
Optional Upgrades
Communication expectations vary. Rather than dilute quality with overloaded service tiers, you may choose the service cadence that matches your style.
All upgrades are flat, predictable fees.
Priority Upgrade
+ $500
- Standard 24-hour turnaround on email replies during business days
- One planning or review meeting per year (virtual)
- Preferred Filing Window (your return is prepared ahead of Standard clients once we receive all documents)
Executive Upgrade
+ $1,000
- Priority email: responses ASAP during business days
- Meetings on request as needed
- Assistance responding to tax notices (non audit).
- Preferred Filing Window (your return is prepared ahead of Standard and Priority clients once we receive all documents)
Complex Crypto & Multi-Wallet Cases
Some crypto taxpayers have simple activity.
Others have hundreds or thousands of transactions, multiple wallets, prior-year gaps, or uncertain basis records.
If your situation involves:
- Large transaction volume
- Numerous wallets/exchanges
- Missing records
- Prior-year reconstructions
- Advanced DeFi, staking, liquidity pools, NFT tax considerations, or chain-to-chain transfers
an additional fee may apply.
Any such fee will be quoted clearly before work begins.
